The PreventMI project, designed to prevent the radicalisation of marginalised young migrants through the application of emotional intelligence and transformative learning, is already underway.
This initiative defines and establishes the learning outcomes needed to equip youth workers with innovative learner-centred methods and digital tools to prevent the radicalisation of young migrants. This will contribute to support the development of quality, innovation and digital transformation in youth work, and promote the social inclusion of young migrants.
To this end, a consortium of partners of different European nationalities has been created and has worked collaboratively to define the competences and learning units covering the different relevant areas defined in the PreventMI project. This consortium consists of the associations Stiftelsen Mangfold i arbeidslivet (Norway), La Bien Pagá (Spain), Infodef (Spain), Stiftelsen Kursverksamheten Vid U-Auniversitet (Sweden), IASIS (Greece) and InnoQuality Systems (Ireland).
This structure of competences and units of work will serve to create the learning outcomes of the Training Curriculum, articulated in terms of knowledge, skills and level of responsibility and autonomy.
