The Foundation's purpose is to influence the development of a diverse workplace / labour market where everyone should be included and have equal opportunities regardless of ethnic, religious and cultural background, age, gender, disability and sexual orientation. With good work practice we mean jobs where realization of talent, collaboration and value creation is given priority. MiA is a knowledge centre/network for Norwegian businesses in need of expertise and experience. We have extensive experience in facilitating for good management and talent utilization at the Norwegian labour market, as well as actions for creating and maintaining constructive work environments and workplace learning. MiAs’ goal is to contribute to diversity in the workplace, which is a breeding ground for increased creativity and diversity perspective by focusing on equality, good governance, participation, and learning - which could give Norwegian jobs increased innovative strength in the future. MiA works daily with training, research and dissemination missions in cooperation with public authorities, private businesses and NGOs / social entrepreneurs. We offer among other guidance, education and customized courses related to diversity management, leadership in multicultural workplaces, profession Norwegian as second language etc. MiA can easily be affiliated with their activities in the development of projects that realize the human capital in private and public workplaces.
INFODEF, Institute for the Promotion of Development and Training, is a private and independent centre for Research, Development and Innovation whose mission is to design and carry out projects that contribute to achieve a sustainable and inclusive development through education, culture and innovation. The centre designs and develops innovative tools, methodologies, products and services that respond to current social and economic challenges and enable to anticipate and drive the changes needed to achieve future goals and objectives in society. INFODEF supports the modernization of educational systems and the pedagogical innovativeness of public and private educational institutions at national and European levels. Has large expertise developing innovative teaching and learning methodologies, tools and resources and has extensibility work on the definition of EQF and ECVET based Training Curriculums and Learning Outcomes, the design of new tools for the identification, assessment and validation of basic, key, transversal and professional competencies, the development of innovative ICT-based tools, the design of methodologies to support Work-Based-Learning programmes and practices, new instruments for the recognition and validation of non-formal and informal learning, innovative teaching methods, entrepreneurship education, especial education and the evaluation and quality assessment of educational programmes.
LBP is an association aimed at supporting the socio-educational integration and cultural inclusion of people with fewer opportunities and vulnerable groups through culture and arts. The association supports disadvantaged groups including: children and school students with learning disabilities, low-skilled and low qualified young adults, migrant families and refugees, ethnic minorities and offenders. LBP manages a cultural and educational centre created with the aim of promoting culture and arts and aiming at empowering unprivileged groups to develop their educational integration, physical, social, emotional and cognitive abilities and to experience achievement, leadership, enjoyment, friendship, recognition and integration in society. The aims and activities of the association includes: Carry out community development projects through programs of sociocultural animation and socio-educational intervention for vulnerable collectives such as migrant families, children and adults. Support children, especially migrants and ethnic minorities, empowering them to thrive and participate fully in society; the entity creates opportunities for success for all school students affected by learning disabilities and to reduce the incidence of learning disabilities in future generations. Promote social volunteering of educational staff to support the population with needs. Provide services to their associates of: information, resources, leisure time educational activities, insertion and counselling companies, both in the fields of formal and non-formal or socio-labour education. Offer services of a socio-labour nature to those people who may need them or demand them. Procure a comprehensive education of children and adults through educational work in their free time. Provide work based learning experiences for unprivileged groups in collaboration with other VET centres, companies, NGOS and Public Administrations. Support the work with unprivileged families in collaboration with the Social Services and the School system.
IASIS is active in the field of Social Inclusion, Mental Health, and Education. The organization is affiliated with the Ministry of Labour, the National Register of Non-Profit Private Sector and the Special Register of Voluntary Non-Governmental Organizations of the Directorate-General for Welfare. IASIS has a management competency system certified by the Special Service / Sector for Health and Social Solidarity and is also certified as a VET Center by the National Organisation for Certification, and is also an executive body for the measure of community service. In addition, IASIS has been certified by the Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation for the implementation of the European Solidarity Corps. Finally, IASIS is under the supervision of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Affairs and Education, the European Union, and the annual financial reports are sent to the Court of Auditors and posted to the initiative. IASIS was founded in 2005. In its 15 years of experience and contribution, people have always been in the center of projects designed and implemented, with the main objectives of providing psychosocial support, combating the social exclusion of vulnerable groups, the provision of psychological and counselling services, the creation of equal opportunities and new perspectives. The total number of beneficiaries of the organization has been estimated at more than 500,000 people since 2006.
Folkuniversitetet (FU) is a national Education Association which offers a wide range of school and VET education training courses throughout Sweden and in several European countries. FU-Uppsala has around 120 permanent employees including administrative staff and teachers. Around 300 employees are working on a freelance basis. Through the cooperation with other FU offices in Sweden, FU-Uppsala has national coverage. FU was registered in 1954 and is nowadays a leading organisation in Sweden in the provision of Education. Further Folkuniversitetet administrate 17 schools around Sweden FU-Uppsala has a long tradition of successfully introducing new teaching methods into education including the latest developments in ICT. FU-Uppsala offers both formal and non-formal education for youth. FU organizes specific training programs and/or training courses for various disadvantaged target groups such as unemployed, low-skilled, immigrants, refugees, people with physical and mental disabilities, youth drop-outs and NEETS. The organisation is focused on the development of interventions that address social issues for various disadvantaged target groups in order to promote labour market inclusion. Totally we organise and implement above 67000 hours of formal and non-formal training for various groups per year with a main focus on youth.
InnoQuality Systems (INQS) provides program and policy services designed to enable positive and progressive student and teacher outcomes in early childhood, primary, postsecondary, VET and adult education. Supporting learning across a lifetime from early care for infants and toddlers through college and workforce training, our innovative approaches and methodologies address critical questions and improve the quality of educational programs. Our wealth of professional expertise and experience has generated a portfolio of evidence-based solutions and methodologies that can be applied to new challenges as the education landscape continues to evolve. Designed to improve quality, drive outcomes, and increase accountability in collaborative educational contexts, InnoQuality Systems’s education services make real improvements and quantifiable results. Our resumé of successful projects spans from community-based organisations to national initiatives to European projects.
